An Evening Celebrating the Mississippi River
Event overview
Join us for the Big River's biggest night as we celebrate its bounty and the myriad ways its steadfast presence enriches our lives. From our historic venue on the Minneapolis riverfront, we will savor seasonal fare, enjoy refreshing drinks, and connect with our community of river supporters. The evening's entertainment includes a river-themed auction, live music, and interactive learning exhibits.
This year's program will feature presentations of our new and inspiring work to achieve our vision of a transformed and thriving Mississippi River - our river - with clean and healthy waters, a vibrant watershed resilient to climate change, and diverse, engaged communities caring for its future.
This event is a fundraiser, and the financial support raised from this evening will advance our mission to protect, restore, and enhance the Mississippi River and its watershed in the Twin Cities region.
Our auction
Our popular river-themed auction open to all is back! Bid on exciting local experiences and one-of-a-kind items — a fly-fishing outing with our Executive Director Whitney Clark to a perennial foods experience with award-winning author Beth Dooley. Preview and bid some of our items now!
We'll be listing more items in the coming days, so stay tuned for updates and check back periodically. The auction opens for bidding on Sept. 23rd and closes Sept. 26th at 7:00 pm.
