Professional Bio

John (he/him) brings seven years of environmental nonprofit fundraising experience to FMR. Most recently, he worked at The Wetlands Initiative in Chicago. Previously, he worked for FMR following grad school at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs. He's honored to work with a dedicated staff to protect, restore and enhance the Mississippi River. 

FMR Role

John engages and cultivates FMR's membership, who value a Mississippi River that is clean, healthy and accessible to all. John is a part of the development team and works with Sara DeKok and Tessa Enroth to raise support for FMR and its mission.

Personal Details

John lives in the Lynnhurst neighborhood of Minneapolis with his partner Bojan and two dogs, Archie and Basil. He enjoys gardening and growing everything from veg to natives to cut flowers.
