FMR and our partners The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (MNRRA) recently released the State of the River Report. This groundbreaking report highlights the status and trends of 13 critical indicators of water quality and ecological health in the metro Mississippi River.

The report has generated extremely positive reviews, and were getting a lot of presentation requests from across the state. Weve already hosted about 800 Minnesotans at State of the River events in the last few months, and theres many more to come.

Some upcoming events include:

  • Thursday, January 24th, noon-1 p.m., University of Minnesota Cargill Auditorium, St. Paul
  • Tuesday, February 26th, 7:30-8:30 p.m., Izaak Walton League of America Breckenridge Chapter, Brooklyn Park

Please check out the State of the River events calendar for up-to-date offerings, registration and additional information. These events are excellent opportunities to learn more about the state of the Mississippi River in the Twin Cities. We hope you can join us!

As always, if you have a group of 20 or more and would like to host a State of the River Report presentation, wed be happy to work with you. Presentations are typically 30-60 minutes, depending on the venue and audience.
