Join the Mississippi River Gorge Stewards volunteers to help remove buckthorn the invasive woody species that degrades our local native plant communities and wildlife habitat — in the maple basswood forest in the Longfellow neighborhood of south Minneapolis.

Volunteers will work closely with FMR staff and will be provided with tools and gloves. Be prepared to work on steep slopes and uneven terrain. Due to the tools and terrain, this event may not be suitable for small children.
