Working to protect the Mississippi River and its watershed in the Twin Cities area
Join dozens of volunteers and FMR staff as we walk through the woods and pick up litter along a stream in Rambling River Park!
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals, families and small groups.
All supplies are provided and details, including directions, will be sent to registrants. A pizza lunch will be provided for volunteers after the event at 11 am!
This event is part of a larger city-wide event, however capacity for this special FMR-led clean-up is limited and pre-registration required.
To sign up, please contact Meghan at mdudle@fmr.org or 651-222-2193 x23 by end of day Thursday, April 30th. Please include: the name of the event, your name, address and phone number and the number in your party. You will receive a confirmation email within a week, at most, plus additional details and a reminder as the event approaches.
This event is part of the Vermillion Stewards program, engaging local citizens in activities that protect the Vermillion River and the many tributaries, lakes and wetlands that makes up its watershed. The Vermillion is the only trophy trout stream within a metro area and important tributary of the Mississippi River.
