Friends of the Rum River 3rd annual clean-up [rescheduled]

Along the Rum River, Isanti County

Please note that this event has been rescheduled from June 22nd due to high water.

Join Friends of the Rum River for their annual “Clean up the Rum” event, Saturday, September 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Put in at 10:00 a.m. at the County Road 7 public access by Spencer Brook. The route will traverse 8.2 miles downstream to take-out at the Hwy 47 public access. Shuttle service for people, canoes and kayaks back to Spencer Brook provided until 3:00 p.m.

Collecting supplies provided. Bring your own canoe, kayak or other water-worthy device, plus life jackets.

Please RSVP. Include the number anticipated in your group to help organizers plan supplies.
