The Valley of Saint Paul: The Legacy of an Iconic Landscape
Join in a community conversation on future development within the West Side Flats.
The panoramic views of the Mississippi River Valley in Saint Paul are among the citys greatest assets. Although the river, valley and bluffs do not look exactly as they did through the eyes of Mark Twain, they have maintained their scenic integrity. As long as we can experience these views, we can stay connected to the valleys rich and varied history, from ancient geologic forces and American Indian sites to busy steamboat landings and the riverfront renaissance of recent years.
Friends of the Mississippi River, Mississippi National River and Recreation Area/National Park Service, and West Side Citizens Organization invite you to an evening presentation by John Anfinson of the National Park Service followed by a panel discussion. Space is limited; please RSVP today!
Please note: West Side Citizens Organization (WSCO) has not yet taken an official position regarding building heights, but is interested in hearing diverse perspectives as they continue to work with community stakeholders.
