If you've been to an FMR event, you've likely met a SuperVolunteer wearing their T-shirt with pride. Did you find yourself wondering how you could get one, too?

FMR's SuperVolunteer recognition program highlights volunteers who go above and beyond to help the river. They earn a coveted shirt — created locally on organic cotton and printed with soy-based ink by a socially responsible, independent designer — plus our utmost thanks and appreciation, as well as advance notice of our most popular events.

Over the years, no two shirts have looked exactly the same. The program was established in 2008, and many volunteers have built up quite a collection since. (This spring SuperVolunteers were invited to a special tie-dye event to put their own personal, colorful touch on their tees.)

Though many have asked, SuperVolunteer shirts cannot be purchased, only earned. Simply participate in four or more hands-on restoration events (or contribute 20 hours of time) annually to become an FMR SuperVolunteer!

Consider joining us Saturday, October 27th for the annual brush haul + celebration at a special stretch of Pine Bend Bluffs only accessible during this event! Or, visit the full event calendar or contact FMR Volunteer Coordinator Amy Kilgore, akilgore@fmr.org, to chart your course to being an FMR SuperVolunteer.
