Bidding Joe Walton a fond adieu

Ecologist Joe Walton

It is with mixed feelings that we must say goodbye to ecologist Joe Walton. It saddens us that we will no longer benefit from his deep knowledge of the natural communities and extensive experience in restoring habitat that is so important for the Mississippi River ecosystem. During his four years at FMR, Joe has developed many natural resource management plans and managed numerous restoration projects. Joe also contributed greatly to the work environment at FMR with his positive attitude and quick smile. The Mississippi River and FMR are both better because of the time he spent here.

On the other hand, we are happy that he will be doing similar work for Dakota County. We know that his ecological work in this south metro county will continue to benefit the great river. Thank you Joe and good luck in your new job.
