Ford Area C dumpsite cleanup rally & meeting
Join FMR at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency-hosted community meeting as we advocate for a full cleanup of Ford Area C, the hazardous waste dumpsite on the riverfront just north of Hidden Falls Park in St. Paul.
At the meeting, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the MPCA will present the history, current state and cleanup options for Area C, then open the floor for your questions and comments.
Registration is not required for the meeting. Parking is available at and around the community center, and multiple transit options are available. The Highland Park Community Center has accessible parking, a ramp to the front door, ADA-compliant doors and a ramp to the auditorium.
At 5:45 p.m., join Friends of the Mississippi River to rally in support of a full cleanup just outside the community center. Help us show how many community members want the MPCA to hold Ford fully accountable and clean up this riverfront mess.
We’ll have signs and stickers available. Shortly before the MPCA’s meeting begins, we’ll head inside together.

Can't make the rally or in-person meeting?
If you can't make the in-person meeting, the MPCA will also have a virtual meeting option on Wednesday, Jan 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Visit the MPCA's website for more information about this event.
We recommend attending the in-person meeting over the virtual meeting for those who are able.
