Local coverage of the Sand Coulee SNA

As we first reported in July 2007, a new Scientific and Natural Area was recently formed in the Sand Coulee prairie, located south of Hastings in Dakota County. FMR has played a pivotal role in securing this important new SNA.

The Minnesota DNRs SNA website contains a web page devoted to this new unit.
