Floristic Quality Assessment for Minnesota Wetlands

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency recently announced a new publication, Floristic Quality Assessment for Minnesota Wetlands. The Assessment is a methodology for monitoring and assessing the condition, or quality, of ecosystems based on the plants that grow there and their individual affinity with unaltered habitats. Floristic Quality Assessment for Minnesota Wetlands provides the scientific background, instruction, and technical resources necessary to apply FQA in Minnesotas wetlands. This publication should be useful to natural resource professionals who work closely with wetlands for a variety of applications as well as researchers and students.
