FMR welcomes new staff

New administrative assistant Michele Bevis

FMR is please to announce that Michele Bevis joined our staff this month in the role of Administrative Assistant. Michele brings a wide rannge of professional experience in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. She has been the Warehouse Manager of the Reuse Center in Minneapolis and as a professional carpenter taught building trades vocational skills to inmates in Minnesotas correctional system. Michele is an avid outdoors woman with a passion for protecting our precious natural resources. Welcome Michele!

Sara Muchowski rejoins FMR staff

Sara Muchowski has re-joined our staff as FMRs Program Assistant/Educator for the 2008 stewardship season. Sara has worked with youth and adults through several park, recreation and outdoor education programs during the past nine years. Most recently, she completed a season of natural resource conservation projects with the Minnesota Conservation Corps in Duluth through AmeriCorps. Sara has a B.S. in Recreation Management from the University of Wisconsin/LaCrosse, and is excited to be back at FMR doing work that has a strong emphasis on teaching and protecting the Mississippi River. Sara will be coordinating the storm drain stenciling project in Minneapolis and Saint Paul and assisting with other FMR events including the Mississippi River Challenge through November of this year. Welcome back Sara!
