Finance Director (Incoming)
Bio
Corrie’s career has been shaped by more than two decades of experience across nonprofit organizations, higher education, and the arts.
Most recently, she served as Business Manager at Northern Clay Center, leading finance, human resources and organizational operations. Her work in theater and arts administration shaped a human-centered approach to leadership rooted in stewardship, collaboration and creative care — the belief that resilient organizations create the clarity, resources and stability people need to pursue meaningful work.
She has long been drawn to organizations that protect and sustain something larger than themselves. The Mississippi River connects people, places and ecosystems across the region, and the opportunity to support that shared resource ultimately led her to the FMR community.
FMR role
As Finance Director, Corrie provides financial and operational leadership that supports FMR’s mission and long-term sustainability. She views this work as an act of creative care — building the clarity, resources and stability that allow staff and stakeholders to do their best work. Through finance, human resources and organizational systems, she helps create the conditions that support both the organization and the river it serves.
Personal details
Outside the office, Corrie enjoys theater, artistic experiences and the cultural communities that have shaped much of her career. She also enjoys summer patios, good food and spending time with friends around a shared table. Whether attending a performance, sharing a meal at a neighborhood restaurant, or exploring a new trail, she values experiences that foster connection and community.
