Northside walk to the river
Calling all Northsiders!
Join your neighbors, elected officials, city and park board staff, and FMR to walk and talk about the future of Dowling between the Mighty Mississippi and Lyndale Avenue North in North Minneapolis. This Dowling Avenue path to the river is currently the only direct route to the Upper Harbor Terminal, soon to be redeveloped to potentially feature a riverfront concert venue, new bike trails, and more.
More details to come. But, for now, please register below and begin to invite your friends and neighbors. There will be food, fun and hopefully a bit of sun! All are welcome. Due to the nature of this event, full participation involves walking or otherwise traveling half of a mile outdoors along N Dowling Avenue. A school bus will be provided to transport attendees between Folwell Park and the walk start/end. Additionally, those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
