Partner event — Spirit of Water: A Celebration with Mississippi River
Join us at Hidden Falls for a celebration with Mississippi River.
This event is co-presented by Resilient Indigenous Sisters Engaging (R.I.S.E. Coalition) and Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light.
This year's community celebration will offer a chance to connect, learn, engage, play, celebrate and honor the spirit of water. Spirit of Water will feature speakers, music, booths, food, art and play areas for children.
The event is designed to highlight the care and responsibility involved in protecting and sharing our waters, which are often hidden by infrastructure and institutions. The focus is on themes of gratitude, celebration, unity, coming together, the commonality of water as a presence in our life, reverence, respect and honor for our water and all that is sacred.
