River Guardians happy hour: What's next for river rules?

Tuesday, November 14, 2017 - 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Wilde Cafe & Spirits, Minneapolis
River Guardians Happy Hour attendees toasting the 2017 legislative session

As 2017 comes to a close, join us to toast another year of protecting the Mississippi River. We’ll spend the evening watching the sunset over the river from a warm, cozy space, indulging in delicious appetizers and hearing from FMR’s River Corridor Program Director Irene Jones about how we can influence our city’s Mississippi Corridor Plan in the coming year.

Please RSVP and bring your friends as all are welcome at this free event!

Throughout 2018, each of the 25 cities and towns that make up the Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area (MRCCA) will be working to update their River Corridor Plan. These plans are the first step in implementing the new river rules (or MRCCA rules) and will help set an important foundation for river protections for years to come. Join us to learn more. We promise to keep it light!
