Meet United By Blue and Target for a fun-filled Community Cleanup Event at Boom Island Park and volunteer to clean up the Mississippi River. The focus of the day will be cleaning up litter and debris from the shoreline of Minnesota's beloved Mississippi River. This could include the removal of items as large as tires and abandoned household furniture to as small as pesky microplastics and ever-abundant snack packaging; all cleaned up with the overarching goal of stopping it from leaching into or physically entering your very own watershed, which in this case, is the Mississippi River!

United By Blue is a sustainable lifestyle brand with a one-for-one mission to clean our worlds blue spaces and keep them clean for future generations to come. This means for every one item we sell, we vow to remove one pound of trash from an ocean, coastline, or waterway - with a whopping 4 million pounds (and counting!) removed to-date.

All cleanup participants will receive a thoughtfully crafted, sustainably made gift to carry their sustainability efforts into their daily life, and complimentary heavy snacks and refreshments for their volunteerism.

All levels of environmental stewards are welcome!
