A familiar face joins the FMR Events Team

Welcome aboard Amy Kilgore!

FMR is delighted to officially welcome events intern Amy Kilgore as our new Outreach Assistant and Events Registrar. Her smiling face will be familiar to many Mississippi Messages readers. Since March, Amy has worked with hundreds of FMR volunteers at our restoration and education events. Now she'll also be the person signing everyone up, staying in touch about details and directions and sending Facebook worthy photos after each event.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Environment and Society from the University of Minnesota and previously served as the Environmental Communications & Policy Intern at Dovetail Partners developing their social media practices.

Amy is also an Exhibits Associate at the EMS Exhibit Center at the Mall of America, where, thanks to her work on various interactive displays, she has learned more about Star Trek, CSI and Barbie than she ever thought possible.
