Farewell to Kay

This month, FMR bids farewell to Kay Yanisch, our Mississippi River Challenge Event Manager for the last four Challenges. Kay took the Challenge from a fledgling (but still really fun!) event to a complex operation offering multiple choices and opportunities for participation. She greatly improved the event's evening at Historic Fort Snelling, ramped up its interpretive aspects, and did much, much more. All of us at FMR are grateful for her commitment and hard work, and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

Many of Kay's job responsibilities will now be handled by Kristin Nierengarten, newly titled as FMRs Development and Special Events Assistant.
