FMR a partner in major metro media campaign to protect our water
FMR is proud to announce our selection as co-coordinators of the Minnesota Water Lets Keep It Clean! metro media campaign. The campaign is a partnership among 21 communities, watershed organizations and non-profits working to place stormwater pollution prevention messages in public media sources throughout the Twin Cities metro area.
In partnership with Hamlines Center for Global Environmental Education, FMR will lead the campaigns development of 30-second televised public service announcements on stormwater pollution and water quality. This years spots included Fowl Water (rubber duckies) and Plop (the fish bowl) and played over 400 times during September and October on cable television.
Other activities include stormwater pollution prevention messages in print media, broadcast radio (including during Minnesota Twins broadcasts), completion of a new web site, and the development of new and innovative stormwater pollution prevention ads and materials.
