Gorge Stewards has new blog and amazing volunteers

The contributions of more than 450 volunteers this year helped protect and enhance the natural communities of the river gorge through a variety of activities including clean-ups, removing invasive species, and collecting and redistributing native seed.

While this seasons restoration work has come to a close, stay tuned to the blog during the off season for more news, photos and stories about the one and only gorge. In the future, volunteers who have recently been to a Gorge Steward event will be able to go to the blog afterward to read about accomplishments, see photos, and leave a comment about their experience. People interested in learning more about what the Gorge Stewards do will be able to check out the blog to learn about past events, see photos of volunteers in action, and read comments from participants.
