Dan Gjelten and Lisa Burke recruit top-notch talent for their annual backyard FMR fundraiser/party. This year, Haley Bonar wowed the crowd.

Since 2007, Dan and Lisa have hosted a summer gathering with great food, drink and awesome local music talent in their beautiful backyard near the river. Over the four years of the event, performers have included such local stars as Jeremy Messersmith, Romantica, Allison Rae and Haley Bonar (pictured).

This fun party also has a unique twist: it's a fundraiser for FMR. Dan and Lisa cover event costs, meaning that 100% of guests' donations go directly to FMR.

Every year the number of people made aware of our work and the amount of money raised has grown. In 2007, around 50 people attended, contributing $450. This year, roughly 100 people enjoyed the party and contributed nearly $1,500! That's enabled us to do a significant amount of work!

Members like Dan and Lisa are making a tangible difference for their river and their community, and are having fun doing it! Their support is greatly appreciated by all of us at FMR.
