Legacy Amendment funding update

The Minnesota House and Senate have each passed their own version of legislation allocating the first installment of funding from the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. A House-Senate conference committee will now try to resolve the differences as current legislative session nears its end.

The legislation will allocate roughly $77.2 million each to habitat and clean-water projects. An estimated $46.2 million will go to arts and cultural heritage projects, and $33.3 million will go to parks and trails.
