You're invited! Governor's Water Summit Briefing

Hosted by Gov. Mark Dayton, the Governor's Water Summit will focus public attention on the serious challenges facing Minnesota’s water supplies — in both rural and urban areas — and continue statewide dialogue to help address those challenges. Scheduled for Saturday, February 27th, the summit brings together water-quality experts, farmers, legislators, regulators, the business community, members of the public, local leaders and a wide variety of other stakeholders. While registration for this first-of-its-kind event quickly reached capacity, there will be opportunities to participate online.

If you plan to attend or would like to participate remotely:

  • Please let FMR River Advocate Alicia Uzarek know!
  • Join us for our Water Summit Briefing and Happy HourThursday, February 25th, 5-7 p.m. at the Minnesota Environmental Partnership office in downtown St. Paul. Relax, have a snack and beer and learn how to make the most of your participation to protect the Mississippi River and all of our states waters. Please RSVP!
  • If you're attending the summit in-person, be sure to visit FMR and our water-quality friends at the Minnesota Environmental Partnership table on the first floor!
