Webcam enables view of I-35W bridge construction site progress
Two webcams are in place to show what is happening at the construction site for the replacement bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. One provides a panoramic view of the entire site, looking east from a rooftop on the north side of the Mississippi River. The other camera is mounted on a light pole on the 10th Avenue Bridge and will provide periodic close-ups on construction activities. A time-lapse photography feature will eventually provide an opportunity to see the construction of the entire bridge, start to finish, in rapid sequence. To see the webcam view, visit the bridge webcam page at the MnDOT website.
