Roger Roffler Memorial Fund honors life of river caring

FMR is pleased and honored to announce the creation of the Roger Roffler Memorial Fund, commemorating Rogers deep and abiding love for the Mississippi River. Growing up in Winona, Minnesota, Roger spent many hours on the river boating, fishing and swimming. He continued to share these activities with family and friends his entire life.

This spring, Rogers family set up a memorial fund with a special gift to FMR as a way to honor his memory and his love for the river. They plan to continue his commitment to the river with annual gifts to the fund. All of us at FMR appreciate and respect this dedication in the spirit in which it was given, and will work hard to continue to protect the river that Roger held so dear.
