Road salt endangering aquatic life in Twin Cities

A new U.S. Geological Survey study reinforces a University of MN report published last year that estimated that 70 percent of the salt used on metro roads gushes into wetlands, lakes and groundwater. The Star Tribune reported on the study's alarming findings earlier this month.
