Protecting the Mississippi River will require active and engaged people from across the entire River region. River Citizens are committed residents who enjoy the blessings of the River and pledge to help protect it.

Whether in armchairs or wading boots, River Citizens take small actions that can make a big difference for the health of the entire Mississippi. The website is designed to help River Citizens get involved, share stores and enjoy the River together. Visit often to record your actions, share you favorite River memories, comment on River news, post photos and connect with other River Citizens.
