Join a June or July worknight!
Join FMR staff and like-minded River Corridor neighbors at one (or more!) of our upcoming Wednesday or Thursday worknights. Theyre a great way to experience and learn about key special places we work in the demonstration native prairie in St. Paul, the Sand Coulee rare prairie near Hastings, Pine Bend Bluffs in Inver Grove Heights, and the Rosemount Wildlife Preserve while also helping to protect them.
- Thursday, June 24, 6-8 p.m., and/or Thursday, July 15, 6-8 p.m.
Join ecologist Karen Schik to help protect wildlife habitat and improve the ecological integrity of the Sand Coulee, a rare dry sand prairie near Hastings. - Wednesday, June 30, 6-8 p.m.
Help care for native shrubs, ferns, flowers, grasses and sedges to enhance plant community diversity and increase habitat in the Rosemount Wildlife Preserve. - Thursday, July 8, 6-8 p.m.
- Learn about one of the most beautiful areas in the Upper Mississippi River Basin, Pine Bend Bluffs Scientific and Natural Area in Inver Grove Heights, and assist with critical habitat restoration work in this regional gem.
Wednesday or Thursday nights dont work for you? Please consider sending this page to a friend or colleague who may be able to help.
