Thank Governor Dayton for bold leadership on grassy buffers for water quality and habitat

On January 16, 2015, Minnesota's Governor announced his proposal to establish a 50-foot buffer of natural vegetation on all of Minnesota's waters. While exact details are yet to be worked out, it is important to express our support for this initiative. The proposed buffers would reduce runoff pollution, significantly improve water quality and create 125,000 acres of habitat for wildlife.
