Aubre Parsons

Aubre on a dock

Aubre Parsons (she/her) brings more than a decade of various accounting experience, ranging from local low-income housing nonprofit accounting to global corporation internal audit and public accounting, with a focus in tax. Aubre started a new career chapter in 2026 as an Accounting Manager at Twin Cities PBS.

FMR Involvement: Treasurer of the Board since 2025, Board member since March 2022; leads the Finance Committee

Why I serve on the FMR Board: I care deeply for the environment. I feel lucky to be able to contribute to an organization that spreads awareness and involves the community in taking care of our river. Being able to lend my financial background to help keep this organization strong is a way for me to translate my care for the environment into action. FMR is an organization that I truly believe in. The work FMR does is priceless, and I’m proud to be a part of something so intrinsically good.

Education: BS, Accounting; CPA license

Professional interests: Making sure everything balances and foots, counting beans and exploring all of the wonderful things Microsoft Excel can do

Interests: I enjoy spending time outdoors while hiking with my dog and partner, canoeing, biking, camping and appreciating nature. I also enjoy knitting, cooking and gardening. Most of all I love supporting my local community and finding ways to live a sustainable existence.

Musical interests: Ever-changing, but currently I listen to a lot of Devotchka, Ween, John Prine, Radiohead, Russian Circles — I love live music, and my favorite venues in Minnesota are the Turf Club, Mortimer’s and the Amsterdam.
