FMR + Broken Clock Brewing Kernza beer release party
Come celebrate the official launch of a new beer inspired by the power of clean-water crops.
Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative and FMR are collaborating to release Deep Roots, Clean Waters: a new Plum Kernza Wheat Ale that celebrates FMR’s environmental conservation work. The beer features the unique combination of plum and Kernza. Kernza is a perennial grain known for its deep roots that stretch deep into the Earth, reducing soil erosion and protecting water quality. The wheat ale is brewed with local ingredients.
Proceeds from the sale of Deep Roots, Clean Waters will support FMR’s conservation and advocacy initiatives.
The beer will be unveiled on Thursday, Oct. 17, at Broken Clock’s taproom (1712 Marshall St NE #100, Minneapolis, Minnesota). FMR staff will be there starting at 5 p.m. We'd love for you to join us for fun conversations and some good beer.
"We’re thrilled to collaborate with Friends of the Mississippi River on this meaningful project," said Jeremy Mathison, founder and brewery operations manager at Broken Clock. "This beer is not only a celebration of the incredible work that FMR does for our community but also a way to raise awareness about the vital importance of clean water and healthy ecosystems."
This partnership highlights the shared commitment to community and sustainability, and supports FMR's efforts to protect and restore the health of the Mississippi River.
