Enjoy a carefully curated multi-media event of choral music, readings and video projections, focusing on the history, conservation and enjoyment of our beloved Mississippi River.

Music will include choral works, ranging from old favorites to exciting new pieces, and a world premiere by Minneapolis composer Charles Betz. Randal A Buikema will conduct, Franco Holder will accompany, and Heid Erdrich, the Minneapolis Poet Laureate 2024, will read.

FMR Executive Director Whitney Clark will also present, and FMR staff will be on hand.

This is a free event, and no preregistration is necessary.

The event is organized by Crescendo Chorus, a non-audition, adult community chorus.
