Thank you, Andrea!

Andrea Woodside has served as the Mississippi River Challenge Communications and Marketing intern since September. Andrea came to us from the University of Minnesota, where she is an Environmental Science, Policy, and Management (ESPM) major. Aside from her coursework, she has dedicated herself to environmental causes both through volunteer work and her research position with the chair of the ESPM department.

Andrea has been instrumental in helping us wrap up the 2009 event and get plans underway for the 2010 Mississippi River Challenge. She has done everything from designing sponsor report covers and data entry to helping create a marketing plan and contacting prospective premium sponsors. Not only did she take on every task thrown her way without complaint, she did it all with enthusiasm and a smile. We were fortunate to find such an eager and capable intern and truly could not have done it without her. Thank you, Andrea!
