Whether helping to pull up netting from the muddy bottom of the Minnesota River, busting buckthorn or quietly working in their cubicles for hours on end, interns Kalei Holt, Cassandra Moe and Iain Wilson all made significant contributions to FMR this summer.

Kalei Holt served as the Mississippi River Challenge intern for both spring and summer. She was an invaluable member of the Challenge team, helping to post the event to a wide variety of online locations to introduce more people to FMRs premier paddle and to communicate with sponsors and assist with other coordination tasks.

Iain Wilson and Cassandra Moe served as the Restoration and Education Events interns this summer. Both assisted with outreach by posting over a dozen public events to online calendars and producing flyers as well as working hard at the summer invasive species removals, plantings, tours and other events.
