Event Assistant

Ivy Song (she/her) is a Student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She was one of the original Friends of the Mississippi River Environmental Stewardship Institute (ESI) council members in 2021. She spent the next two summers supporting the program as an ESI Assistant.

FMR role

This event season, Ivy works alongside the Stewardship & Education team in planning and facilitating our storm drain stenciling program and water quality education as well as supporting various community stewardship events.

Personal details

When Ivy is not in class or working, she loves to play her flute, read fantasy novels and take walks outdoors with friends. She also enjoys baking and making art, and sharing that with friends and family. Her favorite place to take walks is Como Park.
