Welcome new staff: Jakki Edwards, Lois Vandenheuvel

FMR has welcomed aboard two new key staff members. Jakki Edwards is our new finance manager and Lois Vandenheuvel is our new bookkeeper.

Jakki, who has a B.S. in Business Management from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota, was born in England. She is enthusiastic about working for FMR and supporting the river. How could you not? We have such a beautiful natural resource right here in our back yard (so to speak) — how could we not want to enhance and preserve it?

Married 39 years to her best friend Rog, Lois previously served as a bookkeeper for several years for People, Inc., and also worked for Good Samaritan. Her favorite spot along the Mississippi is Hidden Falls, a favorite picnic and fishing spot in her youth.

Lois says, It is very rewarding to feel a part of something so important to the river.
