Whose view? From where? — December 2016

Alex Franzen and Tom Bell both correctly identified the photo as the Grey Cloud Dunes Scientific and Natural Area. 

Tom, who often submits responses and even the occasional "Whose view? From where?" photo, went on to describe one of his favorite places along the Mississippi: "I think this month's photo was taken from Grey Cloud Dunes SNA. The photographer was not very far west of the east parking area and shooting SW from there. The SNA is a valuable holding for its flora and fauna and the view on the Mississippi River where it turns east from Pine Bend. The SNA is in Cottage Grove, MN."

Individuals may then email us and identify the view and explain why they believe it is significant to the community or important to them personally.
