Carpenter Nature Center
Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center

Celebrate the arrival of spring by learning about our region's many bird species. Friends of the Mississippi River is proud to support the Hastings Environmental Protectors, the City of Hastings and Carpenter Nature Center's annual birding festival as part of the Vermillion Stewards program helping residents learn about the watershed while working to protect and enhance its unique natural resources.

Enjoy the many birds of the Mississippi Flyway at the fourth annual Hastings-area Earth Day Birding Festival. Highlights include such classes as “Introduction to Birding”  and "Raptors 101,” bird banding demonstrations, and local guided bird trips.

The program fee is $5 per person or $15 per person including a box lunch and registration is required.
