Partner event: Alebrijes — Keepers of the Island Community Celebration

Saturday, June 14, 2025 - 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Raspberry Island, St. Paul
Alebrijes Festival

Join us in celebrating Mexican folk art and community on an island surrounded by the majestic Mississippi River, at the intersection of St Paul's Downtown Cultural District and West Side neighborhood, home of the only officially-designated Latino cultural district in Minnesota.

The exhibit will feature 16 "Alebrije" sculptures ranging 4 to 16 feet tall from artists Perla Miriam Salgado Zamorano, Alejandro Camacho Barrera, Edgar Israel Camargo Reyes, and Alberto Moreno Fernández.

Enjoy food, music, fun activities, and a chance to meet with many local organizations at this incredible outdoor art exhibit and celebration.

No registration is necessary. Stop by anytime on Saturday, June 14 noon-5 p.m. for this free and family-friendly event. The Alebrijes will be on display at Raspberry Island until October 26, 2025.
