Join FMR Pollinator Biologist Dr. Julia Leone and Minnesota Bumble Bee Atlas staff for a special field-day training at an FMR habitat restoration site known for its beautiful summer wildflower blooms, Spring Lake Park Reserve.

Learn about the Minnesota Bumble Bee Atlas, a community science project focused on tracking and monitoring native bumble bees, meet fellow bumble bee fans, and practice using an insect net and identifying and photographing bees. Participants are encouraged to bring their own net if they have one, but nets will be provided for those who do not.

Advance registration is required. Sign up with our event partners, the Bumble Bee Atlas, using their registration form, and select "Midwest," "Field Day" and the Spring Lake Park location before proceeding to the next steps.

If you would like to receive emails about upcoming FMR events, including habitat restoration to support pollinators, please sign up for Mississippi Messages.

Thank you to our partners and funders:

Bumble Bee Atlas and donors like you!
