Partner series: Mississippi River Days of Action

FMR is proud to be part of the national One Mississippi movement of over 20,000 people and 70+ organizations committed to protecting the future of the Mississippi River.
Every June, FMR offers multiple events and online actions as part of One Mississippi's River Days of Action, a celebration of all the volunteers and advocates working in concert from the headwaters to the gulf.
This year, FMR River Days of Action partner events include:
- Tuesday, June 3, 6-8 p.m.
Help plant a pollinator garden at Southwest Park Ponding Basin in Hastings
- Wednesday, June 4, 6-8 p.m.
Pull garlic mustard at Camel's Hump in Cottage Grove
- Saturday, June 7, 9-11 a,m.
Pull invasive plants at William H. Houlton Conservation Area in Elk River
- Wednesday, June 11, 6-8 8 p.m.
Help plant pollinator shrubs and flowers in River Heights Park
- Saturday, June 14
Alebrijes: Keepers of the Island festival on Raspberry Island in St. Paul
- Saturday, June 14
A birding outing to Ford Area C in collaboration with the St. Paul Bird Alliance
- Sunday, June 15
Minnesota Paddling Opener & Expo on the Mississippi River
