'An Evening Celebrating the Mississippi River' a record success!
More than 250 river lovers gathered October 4 at Nicollet Island Pavilion to celebrate and raise funds for the Mississippi River. Guests enjoyed the sound of the river rushing by and beautiful views of downtown Minneapolis while they mingled with friends, heard from former Vice President Walter Mondale and listened to Tim Palmer share his amazing river tales. It was an evening to remember.
Together we raised over $175,000 to protect, restore and enhance this world-class resource in our midst — making it our most successful event to date! A hearty thank you from all of us at FMR to everyone who helped make this year's event a huge success.
