Welcome, Logan!

Logan Olson (he/him) comes to FMR with a background in restoration ecology and habitat management — a perfect combination for his role as FMR's new Restoration Project Manager.
Logan most recently worked as a Restoration Technician at the Anoka Soil and Water Conservation District, where he gained experience in restoration project management and implementation. Logan is a graduate of Luther College, and is also pursuing a Master's of Natural Resources degree from the University of Idaho.
Logan brings a wealth of knowledge in managing Minnesota's native prairies — not to mention a passion for protecting and restoring habitat. His positive demeanor is evident in his work, and he enjoys working alongside volunteers and helping to create connection with the land.
Logan grew up in Minnesota and has honed his skills as an avid native plant gardener, bringing a little bit of nature home wherever he goes.
Logan says, "I’m thrilled to be a part of the Friends of the Mississippi River team and excited to be part of an organization that values equity and environmental justice, in addition to the amazing work they're known for as stewards of Minnesota's habitat and water quality.”
We're excited to welcome Logan into the fold, and for you all to meet him at an upcoming FMR volunteer event.
