Join us in the Capitol Rotunda to advocate for clean water and environmental justice in Minnesota this Earth Day.
FMR Director of Land Use and Planning Colleen O' Connor Toberman will speak about the importance of protecting the Mississippi River from pollution at the hands of big corporations. Together, we can encourage state leaders to hold Ford Motor Company responsible for a full cleanup of its Area C riverfront dump and then turn our attention to reducing the potential harms from upstream sulfide ore mining.
This rally is being organized by Friends of the Boundary Waters.
No registration is necessary. But if you'd like to be in touch about future similar events and opportunities to advocate for the river, stop by our table to sign up to be an FMR River Guardian.
