'On the river road again' tees benefit FMR
Mississippi River Road
Running through the heart of the Twin Cities is the Mississippi River Road where residents and visitors can enjoy miles of pathways adjacent to East and West River Parkway along the Mighty Mississippi. With many bridges along the way, one can crisscross over the river providing spectacular views from both banks.
Twin Cities resident and world-class marathon runner, Mike Reneau, has been doing just that for many years. As an avid runner with a love for the river, Mike has pounded the pavement along the Mississippi River Road in training for the many marathons he's completed. Now he's looking to give back.
'On the River Road Again' T-shirt
Today, Mike is the owner of Track Club Co, a Minneapolis-based printing and design company. And he's designed a new T-shirt perfect for showing our appreciation for this great recreational resource.
With each T-shirt purchase now through Earth Day (April 22), Track Club Co is generously donating $5 to FMR in support our restoration and conservation efforts.
Sustainably produced
The 'On the River Road Again' tee is more than just another T-shirt. Not only does a portion of your purchase benefit FMR, but it's a water-based print on organic fabric made as sustainably as possible from U.S. grown cotton, recycled plastic bottles and environmentally-friendly Modal (from sustainably harvested beech trees).
With the change of the seasons, we encourage you to get outside and enjoy the Mississippi River Road and remind yourself of the wealth of natural beauty we have to be thankful for in along the river.
We are fortunate to have the Big River flowing through the Twin Cities and to have a place where we can both recreate and relax along the Mississippi River Road. Track Club Co has designed a commemorative Mississippi River Road t-shirt. And now through Earth Day, $5 from the sale of each tee will be donated to FMR in support of our restoration and conservation efforts.
