Wanted: SuperVolunteers!

SuperVolunteers Stacy & Allan

If you've volunteered at an FMR event in the past, chances are you've encountered a SuperVolunteer wearing their identifying T-shirt with pride.

Since 2008, FMR has recognized volunteers who go above and beyond with the SuperVolunteer program. Over the years, no two tees have looked exactly the same. Many volunteers have built up quite a collection and are quick to exchange stories with one another about their experiences.

Not only do SuperVolunteers earn a coveted t-shirt — created locally on organic cotton and printed using soy-based ink by a socially responsible designer, they also receive our utmost thanks and appreciation AND advanced notice to some of our most popular events.

Though many have asked, SuperVolunteer shirts cannot be purchased, only earned. Simply participate at four or more hands-on restoration events or contribute 20 hours of time annually to become an FMR SuperVolunteer!

There's still plenty of time and upcoming events in 2017 to reach SuperVolunteer status! Check out the FMR event calendar or contact FMR Volunteer Coordinator Amy Kilgore, akilgore@fmr.org, to get started.
