Where to buy food, drinks made with clean-water crops
Some of the delicious food and drink products being made with clean-water crops. (Photos by FMR, Forever Green Initiative and respective businesses)
We've talked a lot about the environmental and economic promise of the clean-water crops being developed by the University of Minnesota's Forever Green. But some of these crops also make pretty darn tasty treats — many of which are available to buy online.
Below are some of the businesses selling products made with Forever Green crops. This list is not exhaustive, and some of these items might be small batches that go in and out of stock. If something isn't available right now, check again at a later date. You can also check your local grocery store or co-op to see if they carry any of these products.

What about Kernza beer?
There are a lot of delicious Kernza beers in and around the Twin Cities. We can’t stay on top of which beers are available at any given time (not to mention they can't be purchased online) so we didn’t include them above. But if you’re looking to try one, here are some breweries with regularly or recently available Kernza beers:
- Bang Brewing (a Perennial Percent collaborator, this businesses uses at least 1% Kernza in many of its products)
- Haggard Barrel Brewing
- LocAle Brewing
- Bad Weather Brewing
- Schell's
- Broken Clock Brewing (previous collab with FMR)
