Wanted: June prairie & woodland volunteers
Last year, FMR volunteers installed over 5,000 native prairie and woodland plants. These ecological powerhouses filter pollution, reduce erosion and provide much-needed pollinator, bird and wildlife habitat. Now we need volunteers to help these young plants make it through the summer!
Join us for a summer evening in your local prairie or woodlands. All tools and training are provided, however capacity is limited and advance registration is required.
Sign up for whichever event(s) work best for you with FMR Registrar Amy Kilgore at akilgore@fmr.org. FYI, those who contribute at four or more hands-on habitat restoration events in a year become FMR SuperVolunteers, complete with a coveted T-shirt and advance invitations to our most popular events.
